As Sega describes: "Players take control of beloved Sonic characters as they navigate Dr. Eggman's elaborate toy-themed arenas filled with challenging obstacles and surprises."

To address concerns about its free-to-play model, director Makoto Tase clarified during Tokyo Game Show 2024: "Our monetization focuses on direct purchases rather than random chance systems, ensuring fair access to customization options."

Pre-Registration Bonuses and Rewards

Sega announced that Sonic Rumble has surpassed 900,000 pre-registrations just hours after revealing the launch date. The game offers tiered rewards based on sign-up milestones:

• 200,000 sign-ups: 5,000 Rings (game currency)
• 400,000 sign-ups: Happy Sticker cosmetic
• 600,000 sign-ups: Crystal Chao companion
• 900,000 sign-ups: Garnet Knuckles character skin
• Final milestone: Exclusive Movie Sonic skin (target not yet disclosed)

With several weeks remaining before launch, the community continues working toward unlocking the final mystery reward, potentially requiring over 1 million registrations based on industry standards.
