De Game Awards 2024: een blik op de genomineerden en waar je ze kunt zien

Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards 2024 heeft de genomineerden in 19 categorieën bekendgemaakt, met als hoogtepunt de felbegeerde Game of the Year (GOTY)-prijs. De kanshebbers van dit jaar vertegenwoordigen een breed scala aan titels, van AAA-blockbusters tot indie-lievelingen.

GOTY 2024: een spannende race

De GOTY-race is bijzonder hevig, met toppers als Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (aan de leiding met 7 nominaties), de veelgeprezen Astro Bot, de boeiende Black Mythe: Wukong, de innovatieve Metafoor: ReFantazio, en de verrassend controversiële opname van Elden Ring: Schaduw van de Erdtree. Indie Sensation™ - Interactive Story Balatro laat ook een sterke indruk achter. Fans kunnen tot 11 december hun stem uitbrengen op de officiële website en Discord-server.

Waar en wanneer kunt u de prijsuitreiking bekijken

De Game Awards 2024 worden op 12 december live uitgezonden vanuit het Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. Kijkers kunnen afstemmen via de website van The Game Awards, maar ook via populaire streamingplatforms zoals Twitch, TikTok, YouTube en anderen.
