Low-Budget Repairs Beta Test: Hands-On

Step into the wonderfully chaotic world of Low-Budget Repairs, a 1990s-inspired repair simulator that's finally opening its doors for beta testing! Gray2RGB's debut trailer hinted at the quirky charm, and now, lucky players will get a firsthand experience.

Starting March 3rd, a limited-capacity Steam beta will run for two weeks. Apply now for a chance to participate and help shape the game! Testers will be tasked with reporting bugs and completing a feedback questionnaire at the end of the trial.

Become the proud (and slightly overwhelmed) owner of a 1990s Polish repair business where "budget" is the middle name. Expect the unexpected: duct tape fixes leaks, paint splatters adorn walls, bricks seal windows, and cat doors are fashioned from… well, half a door. But hey, there's always beer!

Your duties as a low-budget repair guru include:

  • Tackling a variety of room repairs and issues, from rescuing flooded bathrooms to overhauling entire apartments.
  • Mastering the art of ultra-cheap fixes: thinning paint to the point of translucency, tile-laying sans level, and the occasional furniture ejection (through a window, naturally).
  • Braving the local hardware store for bargain-bin tools – think hammers that crumble and drills with a penchant for explosive exits.
  • Ignoring customer whims completely – payment is guaranteed, regardless of the (lack of) quality.
