Unlock All BlazBlue Entropy Effect Characters: Guide
Unlocking characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* is a unique experience that revolves around collecting items called Prototype Analyzers. Our comprehensive guide walks you through the process of obtaining these crucial items and introduces you to every playable character in the game.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Unlock Characters
Upon completing the tutorial, you'll receive your first Prototype Analyzer, setting you on the path to expanding your roster. Head out of the Acer Program room through the passage on your right, leading you to a room with a glowing platform. Interact with this platform to access the character selection menu and choose your next fighter.
For subsequent unlocks, return to this room and interact with the platform using your additional Prototype Analyzers. Keep in mind that DLC characters like Rachel and Hazama, available as of March 2025, are unlocked automatically upon purchasing and installing their respective character packs.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Get More Prototype Analyzers
*BlazBlue Entropy Effect* offers several methods to acquire more Prototype Analyzers, each requiring patience and dedication.
Progress the Story
Advancing through the game's storyline and completing training missions will unlock gray skills. You'll earn a Prototype Analyzer at key milestones:
- Unlocking 10 gray skills
- Unlocking 20 gray skills
- Unlocking 40 gray skills
Additionally, you'll receive one after a significant event later in the story. Note that unlocking green skills via Potential does not grant Prototype Analyzers. Without further additions from developer 91Act, you're limited to earning three through story progression.
Complete Mind Challenges and Spend AP
Engage in the Mind Challenge mode to accumulate Action Points (AP). Visit the janitor to exchange 5,000 AP for a Prototype Analyzer. Be prepared for a grind, as this isn't a frequent transaction.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect: All Characters
As of March 2025, *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* features 12 characters, with 10 in the base game and 2 as paid DLC. Here's a closer look at each character, excluding the DLC ones:
Ragna the Bloodedge
Ragna is a melee fighter who gains power as his health depletes. His unique ability allows him to sacrifice health for buffs and recover some by attacking enemies.
Jin Kisaragi
Jin excels in melee combat with ice-based sword attacks. He can freeze foes, enhance his strength through well-timed combos, and even gain super speed to confuse opponents.
Noel Vermillion
Noel specializes in ranged combat, capable of launching missiles in multiple directions. Her unique ability reduces skill cooldown times, and with Over-Exhaust, she can continue casting even with zero MP.
Taokaka
Despite her weakness against heavily armored foes, Taokaka's versatility in builds is unmatched. Her Spinny Spinny attack builds status effects, making her adaptable to various playstyles.
Hakumen
Hakumen is the quintessential tank, slow and sturdy, perfect for frontline battles. His ability to counter-attack at a reduced MP cost after blocking and his midair attack option make him a formidable force.
Lambda-11
Lambda-11 excels in both close and long-range combat, with skills that continue to damage enemies even when not directly engaged. Her versatility makes her a strong choice in any combat scenario.
Kokonoe
Kokonoe may be considered weaker, requiring precise management of crowd control and lasers. However, with the right damage-over-time build, she can be highly effective.
Hibiki Kohaku
Hibiki excels at evasion and crowd control, making him a great choice for players who prefer to keep enemies at bay without needing raw power.
Es
Es is a powerhouse with versatile skills, capable of countering after dodging, executing mid-air combos, and controlling crowds effectively without needing potentials unlocked.
Mai Nastume
Mai has a high skill ceiling, challenging to master but rewarding with her combo potential and mobility. Her Heavy Attack is a standout, but mastering her combos is key to maximizing her effectiveness.
Rachel Alucard
Rachel is exceptionally powerful with her speed and area coverage. Her ability to reset dodges and execute near-unavoidable stunning attacks makes her a top-tier choice.
Hazama
Hazama demands strategic play with his complex input moves. Mastering his skills comes with a steep learning curve, but once achieved, he's among the game's strongest characters.
That covers all the characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* and how you can unlock them to enhance your gaming experience.
