Adopt Me remains a beloved adventure title on Roblox, offering players the chance to explore exciting new locations—like the Moon. As of the latest update, there's only one way to reach this lunar destination, but the process is simple once you know how.

How To Get To the Moon in Adopt Me

Whether you're a seasoned player or trying Adopt Me for the first time, reaching the Moon is accessible to everyone. Simply head to the spaceship located next to the “Ready to Launch!” sign in the hub world. Alternatively, look for the NPC scientist named Lucy, who stands to the right of the glowing blue bridge over the water and says, “Calibrating Lunar Parameters.”

Walk across the bridge toward the ship and press the interaction prompt. A quick-time event will follow as your character launches from Earth into space. Soon after, your character lands safely on the Moon, with Lucy appearing once again to greet you.

As you begin exploring, both you and your pets will automatically be equipped with space helmets, so you don’t have to worry about environmental hazards affecting you or your companions.

What You Can Do on the Moon in Adopt Me

The Moon serves as the resting place for the mysterious Royal Moon Egg, which can be unlocked by collecting five Special Stars found on Adoption Island while exploring the Moon’s surface.

This egg plays a key role during Adopt Me’s Lunar New Year event, as it can hatch to reveal up to eight exclusive pets. Regular Moon Eggs are also available, though their full functionality won't be revealed until February 7, 2025.

One of the most noticeable collectibles on the Moon is the glowing blue Shooting Star. These stars can be used on pets and items via the Vending Machine back on Adoption Island, which also offers additional opportunities to collect more Shooting Stars.

New Shooting Stars spawn daily throughout the event period, lasting until February 14, 2025. During this time, players can collect up to 50 Shooting Stars per day, so make sure to gather the maximum amount each day to get the most out of this limited-time resource.

How To Reach High-Up Shooting Stars on the Moon in Adopt Me

True to the Moon’s low-gravity theme, some Shooting Stars are placed too high to grab with a normal jump. To access them, use one of the Moon’s steam geysers to launch yourself upward.

While the camera angle may sometimes make landing tricky, repeated attempts should allow you to successfully collect these hard-to-reach stars.
