Applin and Dynamax Entei to Debut in Pokémon Go This Month

Two exciting events are coming to Pokémon Go this month, bringing with them the debut of two unique Pokémon from the Galar region. Whether you're drawn to the adorable or the formidable, both the Sweet Discoveries and Max Battle Weekend events have something special in store for you.

Sweet Discoveries will take place from April 24th to 29th, introducing the delightful Dragon/Grass-type Applin. Capturing Applin is just the start of your journey; evolving it into Flapple or Appletun requires 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple, and Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be discovered in the wild, particularly around Mossy Lures, and might even trigger Applin encounters.

During this event, you'll encounter wild spawns such as Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs provide additional opportunities to catch themed Pokémon like Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, allows you to collect Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version offers extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional Applin encounters.
