Studio Wildcard has unveiled an ambitious content roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, extending through late 2026. This updated plan details a significant expansion of the ARK: Survival Evolved remaster, leveraging Unreal Engine 5 for enhanced performance and introducing a steady stream of new content.

Key highlights from the roadmap include:

  • Unreal Engine 5.5 Upgrade (March 2025): This crucial update will significantly boost performance and enable individual DLC map downloads, reducing the overall game size. Nvidia's frame generation support will also return.

  • New Maps & Content: The roadmap outlines the release of several new maps, both free and paid:

    • Free Ragnarok Ascended, Bison (Free Creature), and a Fantastic Tame (April 2025)
    • New Premium Map (June 2025)
    • Free Valguero Ascended, Community-Voted Creature, and Fantastic Tame (August 2025)
    • Free Genesis Ascended Part 1 & Bob's True Tales Part 1 (April 2026)
    • Free Genesis Ascended Part 2 & Bob's True Tales Part 2 (August 2026)
    • Free Fjordur Ascended and Community-Voted Creature (December 2026)
  • Fantastic Tames: A total of six new Fantastic Tames are planned, with three scheduled for 2026.

  • Community Involvement: The roadmap emphasizes community participation, with community votes determining some of the free creatures added to the game.

The roadmap provides a high-level overview, suggesting the possibility of additional unannounced content throughout the next two years. The focus on both free updates and paid DLC ensures a continuous stream of fresh experiences for players. Specific details regarding the new premium map and other additions will be revealed in the coming months.
