Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has been captivating players for over a month, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the experience with their upcoming updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 post-launch roadmap via X (formerly Twitter), detailing new story and gameplay content.

One of the highlights is the introduction of new Story Drops, which will be multiple free content additions to the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

Furthermore, Ubisoft reminds fans about their eagerly anticipated first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, set to release later this year. This DLC will transport players to the new region of Awaji Island, available to explore after the base game's epilogue. Players can expect new enemies, new abilities for both protagonists, and an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
