Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Global Release Schedule Revealed

Ubisoft has officially announced the global release times for the much-anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Unlike previous entries in the series and other Ubisoft titles, Assassin’s Creed Shadows boasts a unified global release date, with no option for early access through additional payments. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S at 12am local time on March 20. However, PC players will experience different release times depending on whether they purchase the game on Steam or Ubisoft's platform, Ubi Connect.

Pre-loading is already available for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, ensuring players can dive right into the action on release day.

The stakes are high for Assassin’s Creed Shadows following a series of delays and the underwhelming sales of last year's Star Wars Outlaws. Ubisoft has faced significant challenges recently, including high-profile flops, layoffs, studio closures, and game cancellations, all leading up to the launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
