Ayaneo, a prominent Chinese company known for its handheld gaming devices since its founding in 2020, has made a significant leap into the Android gaming market. At GDC 2025 in San Francisco, Ayaneo unveiled its first Android gaming devices: the Ayaneo Gaming Pad and the Ayaneo Pocket S2.

What Are the Two New Ayaneo Android Gaming Devices?

Ayaneo has introduced two innovative Android gaming devices:

  • Ayaneo Gaming Pad: This is an Android gaming tablet powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform. The tablet features an 8.3-inch LCD screen with a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, supporting hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution. It also includes Wi-Fi 7 connectivity for enhanced online gaming experiences. The design boasts a glass back and a CNC-machined metal frame, along with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP front-facing camera, setting a new standard for gaming tablets with high-end camera capabilities.

  • Ayaneo Pocket S2: This is a new Android handheld also powered by the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform. It features a 6.3-inch 1440p display and comes equipped with an upgraded Hall-effect joystick, linear triggers, and dual X-axis motors for enhanced haptic feedback. The Pocket S2 utilizes Ayaneo’s proprietary gaming software, AyaSpace and AyaHome, which provide advanced game management and customization options. This device focuses on improving energy efficiency and performance, including support for hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

Both devices leverage the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, which promises significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance compared to the previous generation.
