Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a monumental update, the 'Trans Edition,' courtesy of the developers at Mecha Weka. This update brings a wealth of new content, enhancing both the single-player and multiplayer experiences of the game.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers to the battlefield: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith. Alongside these, players can now utilize two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and command two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter. Existing cruisers are also receiving a boost with three new bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing for greater customization and personalization.

In skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime. PvP matches have been enhanced with a countdown start and aircraft trails that now match the player’s colors, adding a new layer of strategy and immersion.

The update also includes significant balancing changes. For instance, the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate have been upgraded from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health has been increased from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret's damage has seen a boost from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, reflecting a strategic shift in gameplay.

Visually, Battlecruisers now offers underwater transparency, allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea's shading has been improved, and the visuals for cruiser and ship destruction have been enhanced, making for a more engaging experience.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' continues this trend, adding new side quests and introducing a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, promising even more adventure for players.

Set in a flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's universe is populated exclusively by robots engaged in a relentless wage war. As a player, you command your own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to combat a formidable array of enemies.
