If You Want the Biggest LEGO Pokémon Set, You'd Better Start Saving Now — Leak Suggests It'll Retail for a Whopping $650
It appears one of LEGO’s largest — and most eagerly awaited — Pokémon sets could become one of the company’s priciest ever, with a retail price of around $650.
According to LegoLeak on Reddit, the largest set in the upcoming Pokémon line, featuring a massive 6,838 pieces, will be priced at $649.99, while the smaller 2,050-piece set will retail for $199.99. The tiniest kit, with 587 pieces, will be the most affordable at approximately $59.99. All three are reportedly intended for ages 18 and up.
If the leak is accurate, the sets will hit shelves on March 1, 2026, with Insiders gaining early access starting February 27.
LEGO announced its first-ever “new multi-year partnership” with Pokémon back in March. Few details were revealed at the time, beyond the LEGO Pikachu tail and this teaser: "Electrify your imagination in 2026 and get ready to build something we’ve never built with LEGO bricks before!"
"Since the debut of the Pokémon franchise, fans have dreamed of becoming Pokémon Trainers, and now they can take that experience even further... one brick at a time," the announcement teased. "This new partnership will bring the world of Pokémon to life in entirely new ways, allowing fans to build beloved Pokémon in LEGO brick form."
LEGO and Nintendo have also enjoyed a productive relationship for years. In celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the original Mario Kart, IGN has compiled all of the LEGO sets based on Mario Kart that are available right now. You're welcome. Oh, and have you seen LEGO's homage to 1980s gaming, the Arcade Machine?
