Blizzard Reveals New WoW Housing Details

In 2025, World of Warcraft players can look forward to an exciting new feature: a housing system. Blizzard has already revealed the initial details, and the anticipation is palpable. The developers have made it clear that homes will be accessible to all players without the need for complex prerequisites, exorbitant costs, or lotteries. Moreover, your home won't be at risk of being taken away due to a lapsed subscription. The full rollout of this housing content is scheduled to coincide with the launch of the Midnight expansion.

When the system goes live, players will have the opportunity to select a plot in one of two designated zones. If you're aligned with the Alliance, you can choose a spot in Elwynn Forest, which will feature elements from Westfall and Duskwood. On the other hand, if you're with the Horde, Durotar awaits, complete with elements from Azshara and the Durotar coastline.

Each zone will be segmented into districts, with approximately 50 houses per district. This setup allows players to either opt for a more open setting or join a private community alongside friends and guildmates. The developers are committed to offering extensive decoration options for personalization. While the majority of these options will be accessible in-game, some exclusive items will be available through the in-game shop.
