The classic RPG, Breath of Fire IV, has made a triumphant return to PC gaming, 25 years after its initial release. Originally launched on the PlayStation in Japan and North America in 2000, followed by Europe in 2001, the game also saw a PC port in Europe and Japan in 2003. Now, through GOG's ongoing Preservation Program, this beloved title has been fully updated and released DRM-free for modern PCs.

Breath of Fire IV follows the adventures of Ryu, a protagonist with the unique ability to transform into a dragon. Alongside a group of warriors, Ryu embarks on a quest to stop an emperor from unleashing destruction upon the world. This engaging narrative, combined with rich gameplay, has earned the game a special place in the hearts of RPG fans.

The enhanced PC version of Breath of Fire IV is optimized for the latest systems, ensuring compatibility with Windows 10 and 11.
