While this move does not confirm the development of a new game, it certainly indicates that Capcom is considering various possibilities for the franchise's future.

By securing the Dino Crisis trademark, Capcom could be setting the stage for exciting new projects, possibly including a much-anticipated remake of the beloved dinosaur survival horror series. Originally crafted by Shinji Mikami, the creative genius behind Resident Evil, Dino Crisis first hit the shelves in 1999 on the PlayStation 1. The series saw two sequels, but after the release of the third game in 2003, it went quiet, leaving fans both puzzled and hopeful for its revival.
