Get ready for a double dose of Community Day excitement in Pokémon Go! February's event features both Karrablast and Shelmet, increasing their wild spawn rates and offering a chance to encounter their Shiny forms. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Evolving for Advantage:

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms/Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (90 power in all battle types).

Special and Timed Research:

Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, plus a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows Community Day, unlocking further encounters with these Pokémon and their special backgrounds.
