Sony Pictures has thrilling news for fans of the hit anime series, announcing the release date for *Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc*. The film is set to slice its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting development was shared during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where it was revealed that the company has acquired the worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring Tatsuki Fujimoto’s gripping story to the big screen this fall. International audiences in over 80 countries will get to see the movie a bit earlier, starting from September 24, 2025, while Toho will handle its release in Japan on September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the *Chainsaw Man* movie came in December 2023, serving as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that first aired in 2022. The story follows the life of Denji, a young boy who gets a second chance at life after striking a deal with a devil dog named Pochita. This pact grants Denji the extraordinary ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him into the life of the titular Chainsaw Man.

*Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc* will introduce fans to a new character, Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, with the entire voice cast from the anime returning to lend their talents to the cinematic experience.
