Clash of Clans: Major Updates Coming in March 2025

Get ready, Clash of Clans fans, because a monumental update is on the horizon for March 2025! This update is set to transform the game in ways players have been dreaming of for years. It’s poised to introduce one of the most groundbreaking changes yet, with several long-standing features soon to be a thing of the past.

No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!

Imagine attacking back-to-back without any wait times! That's right, with the upcoming update, you won't need to wait for your Troops, Spells, or Siege Machines to train. This change will make battles feel more dynamic and fast-paced than ever before. Additionally, Hero recovery time is being eliminated, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This applies to players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League will maintain its eight-battle limit per day for now.

This significant shift aligns with Clash of Clans' ongoing trend to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Remember the removal of training costs back in 2022? Now, by eliminating training time entirely, Supercell is empowering players to engage in uninterrupted gameplay, free from artificial barriers.

Alongside these changes, certain items will become obsolete. Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out since they'll no longer serve a purpose. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

There’s a New Match Anytime System!

When there aren’t enough real bases to attack, the new Match Anytime system steps in. You'll now be able to attack snapshot bases, which are essentially saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles work just like regular ones, allowing you to earn loot and trophies, but the defender won't lose anything. While this system has been in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, it's now expanding to multiplayer battles as well.

Another key adjustment involves Trophy Curves. Given the potential for more battles per session, the number of trophies you can earn from victories will be reduced. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized at a swift 10 minutes for everyone.
