Clue

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo. If you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you'll be thrilled to dive into this nostalgic update, featuring some of the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack brings back beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. With this update, you have the freedom to integrate these classic suspects into any scenario you desire, without being bound to specific crime scenes or case files. This flexibility allows you to blend your nostalgic favorites with the newer 2023 cast, creating a truly personalized gaming experience.

The demand for the return of these characters has been strong among fans, especially after the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's fantastic to see Marmalade responding to the community's wishes with this exciting update.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new game mode called the Retro Rules Set. This mode, available for free, harkens back to the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic twist to the gameplay. In the Retro Rules Set, you'll experience old-school mechanics that affect how you move and make accusations. For instance, tokens will start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet will always make the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard takes the lead.

Accusations can only be made while in a room, and the Clue Cards are omitted entirely from this mode. Additionally, players cannot move through squares occupied by others, adding a strategic layer to the game.

Be sure to check out the updated game on the Google Play Store to experience these new additions firsthand.
