Crimson Desert, Black Desert Online's Successor, Rejects PS5 ExclusivityPearl Abyss remains committed to its self-publishing strategy for Crimson Desert. In a statement to Eurogamer, the developer reiterated its previously announced independent publishing plans, noting ongoing discussions and collaborations with various partners.

A public demonstration of Crimson Desert is planned for November. Pearl Abyss clarified that no release date has been set, and any articles suggesting otherwise are purely speculative. A playable build will be shown to media this week in Paris, followed by a public showing at G-Star in November.
