Crunchyroll Drops Roguelike Rhythm Game Crypt Of The NecroDancer On Android

Crunchyroll's mobile port of the critically acclaimed rhythm roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is now available on Android! Previously released on PC and with prior mobile appearances, this Crunchyroll-published version (titled "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer") boasts a wealth of added content.

What is Crypt of the NecroDancer?

Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter, venturing into a rhythmically challenging crypt to rescue her missing parent. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is unique. Fifteen playable characters, each with distinct styles, add replayability. The game's soundtrack by Danny Baranowsky is integral to gameplay; every move and attack must sync with the music, or face failure. Expect encounters with dancing skeletons, hip-hop dragons, and more!

More Than Just a Port

This mobile release isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have included remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also key features. Future DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is planned for later this year.

Available now on the Google Play Store for Crunchyroll subscribers, this is a must-have for rhythm game and roguelike fans. Don't miss it! Also, check out our other news about the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
