DC x Sonic the Hedgehog is led by Sonic veterans, writer Ian Flynn and artist Adam Bryce Thomas. The debut issue showcases covers by Pablo M. Collar and Ethan Young.

The story begins as Darkseid crosses from the DC Universe into Sonic's world, drawn by a source of immense power. To prevent ultimate evil from dominating a new dimension, the Justice League must join forces with Team Sonic.

DC x Sonic the Hedgehog is part of a broader Warner Bros. and Sega partnership. The collaboration includes an exclusive line of toys and collectibles at Target, starting with T-shirts and hoodies featuring Shadow the Hedgehog dressed as Batman.
