Dead by Daylight Mobile Ending Service as NetEase Confirms EOS
NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially shutting down. After a four-year run on Android, the game will meet its end-of-service (EOS) date on March 20th, 2025. This news comes as a surprise to many fans of the 4v1 survival horror title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful PC and console game. While the mobile version is closing, players can still enjoy the PC and console versions.
Dead by Daylight Mobile pitted Killers against Survivors in a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Players could choose to stalk and sacrifice Survivors as a Killer, or work together to evade capture and survive as a Survivor.
Dead by Daylight Mobile's End of Service (EOS) Timeline:
- January 16th, 2025: The game will be removed from app stores.
- March 20th, 2025: The game's servers will shut down permanently.
Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date. NetEase will provide information regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional regulations.
For those wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for new players transferring from mobile. Loyalty rewards will also be granted to players who have invested time or money into the mobile game.
Before the servers go dark, download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store and experience the thrill for yourself. And for another exciting mobile gaming option, check out our review of the new dungeon-building game, Tormentis Dungeon RPG.
