How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.

When facing monsters in *E.R.P.O.*, you have several tools at your disposal:

  • Melee Weapons: From a machete to a hammer, these can be purchased in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. Pick them up with M1, swing them at the monsters, and watch the damage pile up. However, be cautious against ranged attackers like the Huntsman. A hit-and-run approach is often recommended to minimize damage taken. Healing items are essential for prolonged melee engagements.
  • Grenades and Mines: These explosive items are available in the shop and can be used to deal massive damage. To use a grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and either throw it or leave it on the ground. Move away quickly to avoid the blast. Mines function similarly but require placement and activation when the monster steps on them.
  • Bait and Trap: For example, you can lure a Huntsman into shooting another monster by hiding behind it and making noise. Alternatively, you can bait Reapers into attacking each other during their animations.

Robe Guide (Ghost)

This towering shadowy figure is best avoided or dealt with from a distance. Its mask enables it to teleport closer when it spots you, so keep moving and don’t stare directly at it. To defeat it, either kite it around or set up two grenades or mines nearby to damage it significantly. Melee combat is risky due to its high damage output.

Reaper Guide

The Reaper is a ragged doll-like creature armed with spinning sword arms. While it can be kited like the Robe, it doesn’t teleport. Melee weapons work well against it since its damage isn’t particularly high. A single grenade or two hits from a melee weapon are usually enough to bring it down. Both grenades and mines can temporarily stun the Reaper.

Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks turn aggressive if provoked. Avoid harming them unless necessary, as they have low health and can easily be dispatched with melee attacks. Throwing a grenade is excessive but effective if needed. Your best option is to outrun them or eliminate them quickly.

Huntsman Guide

The Huntsman is blind but relies on sound to locate players. Crouch and hide under tables to remain undetected. Melee combat is futile due to its auto-aim feature and lethal damage output. Instead, place a mine near his position or throw a grenade while crouching. The resulting explosion will deafen him for six seconds, allowing you to approach and finish him off with melee weapons.
