PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!

The Delta Force PC Alpha Test went live at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, on August 30, the developers announced that the Alpha Test would close on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States.

Fans eager to dive into the action had several ways to secure their spot in the Alpha Test:

The official Twitter/X account also frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special occasions and milestones, adding excitement and opportunity for fans.

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced

Delta Force thrilled fans by announcing a new date for the delayed Alpha Test, set for August 6, 2024. Participants could try their luck at getting in through the official website, the Steam page, or by snagging keys via Twitch drops or giveaways. A notable giveaway on their official Twitter/X account saw 100 lucky winners receive codes for the Alpha Test.

July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed

Following the pre-alpha test from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical errors that impacted gameplay for the limited number of players involved. Consequently, they had to postpone the planned July Alpha Test to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Initially Scheduled Alpha Test

Originally, Delta Force was set to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, with no end date disclosed. Fans could attempt to gain access via the official website by filling out player surveys, through the Steam page, or by tuning into Twitch.tv streams to receive Steam keys as Twitch Drops.

The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a crucial stress test, allowing a small subset of players early access. Engaging with all available avenues increased the chances of securing early-early access.

The Alpha Test was exclusively on PC, accessible through the game's official client or Steam. Note that gaining access on one platform did not guarantee access on the other, as cross-progression was not a feature of the Alpha Test.
