Delta Force Mobile Now Available for Pre-Order

Delta Force, previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is now accepting pre-registrations for iOS and Android devices. This Tencent-developed title, launching late January 2025, marks a significant entry into the modern military shooter market. The game blends various missions and modes, emphasizing tactical gameplay.

For those unfamiliar, the Delta Force franchise is a veteran of the FPS genre, predating even Call of Duty. Inspired by the real-life US military unit, it's renowned for realistic action, advanced gadgets, and authentic weaponry.

Tencent's Level Infinite has masterfully revived the series. Expect large-scale battles in Warfare mode (reminiscent of Battlefield), and extraction-focused gameplay in Operations mode. A single-player campaign, drawing inspiration from the Battle of Mogadishu and the film "Black Hawk Down," is also slated for release in 2025.

Addressing Cheating Concerns

Despite high anticipation, Delta Force has faced controversy regarding cheating. Tencent's aggressive anti-cheat measures, implemented for the PC version, have drawn criticism. While their G.T.I. Security team claims dedicated efforts, the stringent restrictions on software and hardware have been met with negative feedback.

Although mobile platforms generally present a lower risk of cheating, this initial controversy might still affect Delta Force's reception. However, the mobile version's potential remains strong, offering a potentially smoother experience.
