Delta Force Goes Mobile: Garena Partners with TiMi

Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch

Garena is bringing the tactical first-person shooter, Delta Force (formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops), to a global audience. A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025. Originally developed by NovaLogic and later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), the game now sees Garena partnering for its release in various global regions.

Cross-progression will be available between PC and mobile platforms. The full launch in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa is slated for 2025.

Garena's Delta Force Game Modes:

• Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into squads of four.
• Operations: A high-stakes extraction shooter mode for three-person squads. Teams scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and fight to reach an extraction point before time runs out. Loot can be used in future matches or exchanged for currency. Players can also acquire enemy gear and supplies. The mode features bosses, restricted areas, and special missions, including a hidden MandelBrick item that unlocks exclusive skins (but reveals your location to other players).

A Nostalgic Return?

This new Delta Force iteration boasts sharp, realistic graphics and retains the tactical gameplay the series is known for. Fans of the original 1998 release are sure to find plenty of familiar elements.
