Destiny 2 Reveals Horror Themed Armor Sets for Festival of the Lost 2025

Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost 2025: A Horror-Themed Vote and Community Concerns

Destiny 2 players are getting a spooky treat this year! Bungie has unveiled the upcoming armor sets for Festival of the Lost 2025, pitting "Slashers" against "Spectres" in a community vote. These new sets draw inspiration from iconic horror figures like Jason Voorhees, Ghostface, Babadook, La Llorona, and even Slenderman. The winning designs will be available in October. Additionally, the previously unreleased Wizard armor from the 2024 event will finally be obtainable during Episode Heresy.

The Slasher category features Jason-inspired Titan armor, Ghostface-themed Hunter gear, and a creepy Scarecrow Warlock set. The Spectre category offers Babadook-themed Titan armor, La Llorona-inspired Hunter armor, and a highly anticipated Slenderman Warlock set.

However, the excitement surrounding these Halloween-themed cosmetics is somewhat overshadowed by growing concerns within the Destiny 2 community. Episode Revenant has been plagued by bugs and performance issues, leading to declining player numbers and frustration. While many appreciated Bungie's creative approach to the horror theme, the announcement of Festival of the Lost armor sets, ten months in advance, felt premature to some players who are hoping for more immediate attention to the game's current problems. The community is seeking acknowledgement of these ongoing issues and a clear path toward improvement.
