Destiny Child is Making a Comeback as an Idle RPG Soon!

Destiny Child is returning! Originally launched in 2016 and archived in September 2023, this beloved title is being resurrected by Com2uS, taking over development from ShiftUp.

A Fresh Start?

This isn't just a re-release; Com2uS is developing a brand-new Destiny Child game, an idle RPG experience. Development will be spearheaded by Com2uS's subsidiary, Tiki Taka Studio, known for their work on titles like the tactical RPG, Arcana Tactics.

While embracing the spirit and charming 2D art style of the original, the new Destiny Child will boast a completely revamped gameplay experience.

Remember the Memorial?

The original Destiny Child made a splash with its captivating characters and dynamic real-time battles. Following its closure after nearly seven years, ShiftUp launched a memorial version, allowing players a final glimpse.

While not the full game, the memorial app lets players revisit the stunning character illustrations and fondly remember their Childs. Access requires verification using previous account data, limiting access to players with pre-shutdown accounts. It's a nostalgic trip down memory lane, preserving the Childs and their classes, even without combat. If you have access, download it from the Google Play Store and enjoy the art, at least until the new game arrives.
