by Ethan May 03,2025

The indie hit *Drug Dealer Simulator Schedule I* continues to soar on Steam, maintaining its status as one of the platform's most-played games. The game's developer, Tyler, has just released the first significant post-launch update, version 0.3.4, which is currently available for testing on the beta branch.

According to Tyler's announcement on the game’s Steam page, the beta version will remain available for a day or two before its official full release. Players eager to dive into the new features can opt into the beta branch to test them out. Tyler noted, “This beta doesn't quite contain 100% of the features coming in the full release. I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialed.”

Schedule I burst onto the scene as the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, outshining major titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube propelled it to fame. In the game, players start as a small-time drug dealer and climb the ranks to become a kingpin, managing the production and distribution of various drugs in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Expansion of your empire is facilitated through acquiring properties, businesses, employees, and more.

Developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie developer Tyler has described the game's launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a post on Reddit, Tyler shared, “I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched.”
