Diablo 4: All Forgotten Altar Locations Revealed

by Christopher Apr 13,2025

A new kind of power is making its way into *Diablo 4*, and it's sure to resonate with fans of fantasy series such as *Harry Potter* and *Agatha All Along*. However, mastering this power by joining a coven is no easy feat. To help you on this journey, here are all the Forgotten Altar locations in *Diablo 4*.

How To Find All the Forgotten Altar Locations in Diablo 4

The Season of Witchcraft introduces a fresh Questline that lets you delve into Witchcraft Powers, categorized into three main types: Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay. Each focuses on different facets of occult magic. To unlock these abilities, you need to earn favor with The Coven, which you do by collecting Restless Rot through mission completions.

As you progress, you'll be able to upgrade structures near the Tree of Whispers, known as Altars. While most players will concentrate on these main Altars, there's another type, Forgotten Altars, which grant you access to potent Lost Powers. Finding these Forgotten Altars, however, is no simple task.

Unlike the main Altars with fixed locations, Forgotten Altars appear randomly within Sanctuary's dungeons. This means you'll need to do some grinding, but since the seasonal Questline often leads you to dungeons, you might not need to go too far out of your way. The effort is well worth it, as the Lost Powers are among the game's most formidable abilities.
