Diablo 4 Set for Major Reveal on January 21

Blizzard has unveiled the details of Diablo 4 Season 7, dubbed Season of Witchcraft, set to commence on January 21. Since its launch in 2023, Diablo 4 has been supported by Blizzard through regular updates, seasonal content, and expansions, keeping the action-RPG's fanbase engaged. Season of Witchcraft is poised to be a significant addition to the game, marking the start of "Chapter 2" as Season 6 concludes "Chapter 1."

Starting on Tuesday, January 21 at 10am PST, Diablo 4 Season of Witchcraft will see players collaborating with the Witches of Hawezar to recover heads stolen from the Tree of Whispers. Engaging with these witches allows players to enhance their abilities through witchcraft powers. A highlight of the season includes the introduction of Occult Gems, which grant players new abilities reminiscent of those in Diablo 3. These gems, along with other seasonal rewards, can be obtained by defeating the newly introduced mutated Headrotten Bosses.

In addition to the core seasonal content, Season 7 will feature quality-of-life improvements, including an upgraded Diablo 4 armory for saving and swapping between different loadouts. Players can also look forward to new seasonal rewards such as fresh Uniques and Legendaries, the chance to unlock the Raven pet by participating in the Season Journey, and rewards from completing the new Battle Pass.

Owners of the Vessel of Hatred expansion will enjoy exclusive content during Season 7, including access to three new Runes. Blizzard has emphasized that certain seasonal content will be reserved for expansion owners, hinting at potentially more substantial content in future seasons.
