Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Support

The festive Jingle Hells mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies reimagines Liberty Falls, but also alters weapon progression and upgrade mechanics. This guide details how to upgrade weapons and obtain Ammo Mods and Support items.

Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells

Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades are achieved using Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity levels (color-coded). Using a higher-rarity Aether Tool (e.g., Purple/Legendary) upgrades your weapon to that tier. Aether Tools can be obtained in several ways:

  • Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The resulting zombie drop contains loot, potentially including an Aether Tool. Higher round numbers increase the chance of higher-rarity Aether Tools.
  • Bank Vault: Loot Keys open safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, aiming for the highest reward tier, offers a chance to acquire Aether Tools.
  • Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity.
  • Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as the round progresses.

Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells

Currently, the only Ammo Mod available in Jingle Hells is Cryo Freeze. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily obtained from Holiday Presents. These presents contain random loot, with higher-rarity items more likely in later rounds.

Holiday Presents are acquired through various methods:

  • Enemy Kills: They occasionally drop from defeated enemies.
  • Naughty or Nice Power-up: The stocking-shaped power-up grants either a "Nice" or "Naughty" effect. "Nice" drops multiple Holiday Presents, while "Naughty" spawns numerous vermin enemies.
  • S.A.M. Machine: When active, the S.A.M. Machine spawns several Holiday Presents nearby.

Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells

Similar to the Arsenal Machine, the Workbench is also absent, preventing Salvage-based equipment crafting and Support item creation (Chopper Gunners, Mutant Injections, Self Revives). However, these items can still be found:

  • Enemy Kills: Equipment drops from regular enemies.
  • Holiday Presents: Can contain equipment.
  • Special/Elite Enemy Kills: Support items drop from these enemies.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Award equipment and Support.
  • Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: May contain equipment and Support.
