Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Upon Aladdin's arrival in Dreamlight Valley, he'll invite you to hang out with the Magic Carpet. To complete the quest "Carpet Diem," which begins in the Agrabah realm, equip Carpet as a Companion from the wardrobe menu and snap a selfie with it.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

To unlock the "Good As Gold" quest, increase Aladdin's friendship level to 2 by giving him his favorite gifts. Aladdin will enlist your help with Scrooge McDuck's new security system test. Start by speaking with Scrooge, then take photos inside his shop. You need to capture:

• A door guarding treasure, reminiscent of the Cave of Wonders.
• Two ways to reach the second floor of the shop.
• Three ways to escape from the guards.

Take broad shots of the vault door behind the desk and both staircases to meet these requirements efficiently. After taking the photos, discuss the next steps with Aladdin, who suggests dressing in dark, sporty attire. Optionally, wait until nightfall (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) to change and proceed.

Once dressed for the mission, enter the shop and talk to Aladdin. Activate the security system test by pressing the big red button on the left wall. The shop transforms into a "closed" state with pools of light and control buttons. Navigate downstairs by manipulating the lights without getting caught. Start with the center button, then move to the back right wall to turn off two upstairs lights. Adjust the spotlight away from the left staircase button, then turn off the light over the center button and the one at the bottom of the right staircase.

Downstairs, shift the front door spotlight toward the staircase you descended, then turn off the light over the initial security test button. Talk to Aladdin in front of the vault, where you'll collect four floating coins. After collecting them, exit the shop to find nine more coins scattered around Dreamlight Valley. Return to Aladdin and Jasmine's house to give him the coins, which he adds to Scrooge's growing pile of gold.

Take a photo with Aladdin and the gold, then listen to Aladdin and Scrooge discuss the mission. Talk to Aladdin one last time to complete the "Good As Gold" quest.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 4, Aladdin wants to craft a Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Start by talking to Merlin, who directs you to find three books in the Dreamlight Library: Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique. These are located on the floor next to the book pile, on the back right shelf, and to the left of the central desk.

After collecting the books, give them to Aladdin, who then sends you to Minnie for help. Gather the following materials:

• 4 Dream Shards
• 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach)
• 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor)
• 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall, Crafting)

Deliver these to Aladdin and Jasmine's house, where Aladdin will create the Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Accept the Magic Scroll from him and activate the carpet to make it fly. Follow Aladdin to the Disney castle entrance, where he'll set up a tour around the Valley on your new carpet. Since the carpet is a Glider skin, ensure your energy bar is overfilled (yellow) by consuming enough prepared meals to use it.

Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet from the wardrobe menu and start the tour by gliding under the banner in the Plaza's main square. Navigate through the Forest of Valor, Dazzle Beach, Peaceful Meadow, and back to Dazzle Beach, ensuring you follow the quest instructions if you get lost.

Note that the Dreamlight Magic Carpet functions like other Gliders, meaning ground obstacles will still affect your path. After reaching the end of the pier, talk to Aladdin to complete the "Bring Your Own Carpet" quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin seeks your help with the "All That Glitters" quest to create an extraordinary bouquet for Jasmine. Collect 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers, then present them to Aladdin. After giving Jasmine the bouquet, Aladdin will express his desire to surprise her with a treasure mentioned in a scroll from Scrooge McDuck.

Start the treasure hunt at the mermaid's isle, accessed via the raft on Skull Island. Find the Golden Sun Piece on the upper right side of the peninsula and insert it into the tall rock. Follow the clues to dig up a box, fish up a pillar piece, and open a barrel. Assemble the pieces on the Pillar, but nothing happens initially. Consult with Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel, who are unaware of the Pillar's purpose.

Return to Ariel's island, where Jasmine offers her help. The clue from the Golden Sun Piece guides you to arrange the Pillar pieces to show water, seed, and flower in that order. Collect the treasure that appears and give it to Aladdin, who presents it to Jasmine. The true treasure, Jasmine reveals, is a lifetime of adventure with Aladdin.
