Disney Mirrorverse Announces EOS By The End Of This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring reimagined Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Kabam, the developer, announced the End of Service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game is already unavailable on the Google Play Store, and in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently deactivated.

A Look Back:

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse generated initial excitement among Disney fans. However, a lengthy beta period and infrequent content updates contributed to player attrition. The game's demanding shard collection system, requiring significant time or monetary investment to fully develop characters, also proved challenging for many. Despite these shortcomings, the game boasted impressive character designs and high-quality graphics.

The EOS announcement is particularly surprising given the recent release of new story content and the addition of Cinderella as a playable character just a week prior. This isn't Kabam's first abrupt game closure; they previously shut down Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off.
