A Kindling Forest, a new action-adventure game from solo developer and high school teacher Dennis Berndtsson, offers a unique side-scrolling auto-runner experience packed with innovative mechanics. Prepare for a thrilling journey filled with forests, arrows, and plenty of lava!

The Story:

An ancient demon terrorizes the world, prompting forest spirits to awaken a long-dormant archer. Armed with a bow, he's tasked with vanquishing the demon. However, this isn't your typical straightforward adventure.

Gameplay:

Constant movement is key. The screen scrolls relentlessly, presenting a barrage of sharp, unpredictable obstacles. Players must skillfully dodge or shoot these hazards using their arrows—their lifeline provided by the forest spirits. Running out of arrows means game over, making each shot crucial.

Five increasingly challenging levels await, filled with obstacles like jumping spiders, teleporting ruins, clouds, and lava flows. Strategically placed checkpoints offer a safety net, allowing players to restart and refine their approach after setbacks.

The game cleverly utilizes a split-screen design: one half for jumping, the other for shooting. Precise timing is essential, aided by a slow-motion effect during aiming.
