Donkey Kong Bananza Coming to Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo has unveiled an exciting new addition to their lineup with the announcement of "Donkey Kong Bananza," a 3D platforming action game exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2. Scheduled for release on July 17, 2025, this game will be priced at $69.99. During the recent Nintendo Direct, a captivating debut gameplay trailer was showcased, giving fans a glimpse into the wild adventures awaiting them.

According to the official description, "Donkey Kong Bananza" promises an exhilarating experience as players navigate through environments, smashing and climbing their way through obstacles. The game introduces a novel mechanic where players can demolish parts of the terrain to use as weapons or tools for exploration, revealing new areas to explore as they progress. The game is set to deliver a thrilling mix of mayhem, surprises, and, of course, plenty of bananas.

The Nintendo Switch 2, on which "Donkey Kong Bananza" will be exclusively available, is set to launch on June 5, 2025, priced at $449.99. This new console comes equipped with:

This bundle will be available from the console's launch day. "Mario Kart World" itself will cost $79.99, marking a $10 increase from Nintendo's previously most expensive Switch game.
