Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is giving fans a chance to shape the Like a Dragon (LAD) 20th-anniversary merchandise! A special voting project allows fans to select their favorite in-game items to be transformed into real-world collectibles.

Like A Dragon Kicks Off 20th Anniversary Merchandise Special Voting Project

The 20th anniversary celebration kicks off in December 2025. One hundred items are up for grabs, including a diverse range of options referencing the series' history: lingerie, incense, mahjong tiles, a karaoke microphone, a luxury lighter, 20th-anniversary sake, themed pillows, Kiryu's dragon mask, and much more. The winning item, determined by fan votes, will be produced and released within two years.

Voting runs from February 8th, 2025, to March 21st, 2025. One vote per day is allowed. Following the voting period, a survey will determine the winning item's design.

More Yakuza Remakes on the Horizon?

RGG Studio hinted at potential remakes during their 19th-anniversary announcement on December 8th, 2024. Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama expressed gratitude to fans and teased various events and announcements leading up to the 20th anniversary. The success of their 10th-anniversary remakes (Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami) fuels speculation of similar projects for the upcoming milestone.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii - Now Available!

The 20th-anniversary celebrations begin with the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20th, 2025. The PC requirements, announced on February 10th, 2025, feature an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent as the recommended graphics card, making it accessible to most gaming PCs. The game is also confirmed as Steam Deck verified and will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
