This expansion draws directly from the 16th and 17th books, "Peace Talks" and "Battle Ground," introducing new card decks reflecting these narratives. Two exciting new playable characters join the roster: River Shoulders and Sir Waldo.

The game centers on Harry Dresden, a wizarding private investigator battling supernatural threats in Chicago. Players encounter a diverse cast of creatures, including vampires, faeries, demons, spirits, and werewolves.

Alongside Harry, players can control Murphy, Susan, Michael, and the Alphas. Gameplay blends the storylines of the novels with "Side Jobs," a randomized scenario generator inspired by the short story collection.
