Only 36% of 474 player reviews at EA Sports FC 25’s launch were positive, with many citing persistent bugs, crashes, and issues with PlayStation controller recognition, alongside criticism of Electronic Arts’ perceived profit-driven approach.

Additionally, the game’s anti-cheat system renders it incompatible with Steam Deck.
