Elden Ring Nightreign's First Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th

Get ready, Tarnished! The first network test for Elden Ring Nightreign begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. This limited beta, scheduled for February 2025, will exclusively run on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in the Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. The game's full release is slated for 2025.

This initial network test serves as a crucial step in preparing for launch. While the exact number of participants remains undisclosed, interested players can register via the official website starting January 10th. Expect confirmation emails no later than February 2025. Specific test dates will be revealed soon.

Platform Limitations:

A key limitation is the exclusion of PS4, Xbox One, and PC players from this beta. Furthermore, FromSoftware has confirmed no cross-platform play, meaning players will only be matched with others on the same console. Progress made during the test is not expected to carry over to the final game. Additional betas are possible, but unconfirmed.

Gameplay Restrictions:

Beyond platform limitations, Elden Ring Nightreign will only support solo or three-player parties; two-player co-op is not supported. Whether the network test will include further gameplay restrictions remains to be seen.
