EOS Integration Enriches Battle Crush, Augmenting its Gameplay

NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, as the game never reached a fully polished, official launch. Following a global test in August 2023 and early access in June 2024, the game is closing its doors just months later.

Battle Crush's Shutdown Date

The game servers will officially shut down on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. However, players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.

Refunds for Android and Steam players will be available from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.

The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any needed support. Social media accounts and the Discord server will close on January 31st, 2025.

Unexpected Closure?

The sudden closure is understandably disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While enjoyable, the game's somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues likely contributed to its premature end. It lacked the polish and finesse needed to thrive.

You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the servers shut down. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming coverage of Black Desert Mobile's story-driven Autumn Season quests.
