Etheria: Restart Gearing Towards Launch

Etheria: Restart announced on Twitter (X) on April 21 that they will be hosting a global livestream ahead of its final beta test. The livestream is scheduled for April 25, 2025, at 21:00 (UTC-5) and will be available on Etheria: Restart’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. Etheria: Restart is an upcoming free-to-play hero RPG set in a futuristic, sci-fi world where humanity faces a global freeze and uploads their minds to Etheria to coexist with beings called the Animus. A new threat, the Genesis Virus, corrupts these Animus, turning them hostile. As a Hyperlinker in the Hyperlinker Union, players must fight this viral menace and uncover its origins to protect both the digital and remaining real-world humanity.

Developed with Unreal Engine, Etheria: Restart boasts stunning graphics and cinematic scenes. Its gameplay combines strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control and includes a PvP arena for competitive battles. The game features a gacha system where players can use Hydra Crystals, earned in-game or purchased with real money, to acquire new characters.

Final Beta Test Starts May 8, 2025

The final beta test kicks off on May 8, 2025, and will introduce the Anisync Echoes and Phantom Theater trial challenges, as well as real-time PvP (RTA) battles inspired by popular titles like Summoners War and Epic Seven. Cross-play functionality allows players on mobile and PC to compete in the real-time arena, form the ultimate squad for challenging boss fights, and unlock new companions called "Shells."
