"Event Horizon: Dark Descent - Long-Awaited Movie Prequel Released"

Nearly three decades after its initial release, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic, *Event Horizon*, is set to expand its universe with a gripping prequel. IDW Publishing has announced *Event Horizon: Dark Descent*, a five-issue comic book series that promises to delve into the chilling events preceding the film and unravel the mysterious fate of the Event Horizon's original crew.

Penned by acclaimed writer Christian Ward, known for his work on *Batman: City of Madness*, and illustrated by the talented Tristan Jones of *Aliens: Defiance* fame, *Dark Descent* will be brought to life with vibrant colors by Pip Martin, renowned for *That Texas Blood*. The series will feature stunning cover art by Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.
