Exclusive Emotes Are Up for Grabs as Squad Busters Bids Farewell to Win Streaks

Squad Busters is eliminating its Win Streak system, bringing significant changes to the game. This decision, effective December 16th, aims to alleviate player pressure and frustration associated with maintaining long win streaks. While the streak itself will be removed, your highest achieved streak will remain as a profile achievement.

Why the Change and What's Happening?

The Win Streak system, while intended to reward players, inadvertently increased pressure and negatively impacted the overall gaming experience for many. To compensate for the removal, players who reach specific win milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes. Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for coins spent on streak boosts; developers cite maintaining game balance and fairness between free-to-play and paying players as the reason.

Player reaction to the change is mixed, with some welcoming the shift away from perceived pay-to-win elements, while others express disappointment with the compensation offered.
