Marvel Contest of Champions is set to captivate players throughout April with a lineup of thrilling updates, including the highly anticipated arrival of Spider-Woman. Joining her is another champion with a completely contrasting vibe, ensuring diverse gameplay experiences.

Introducing Spider-Woman

Born as Jessica Drew, Spider-Woman's journey began when she fell ill due to uranium exposure during her childhood. Her father, a brilliant geneticist, conducted an experiment by injecting her with a blend of spider DNA. After overcoming the adverse effects of the experiment, Jessica emerged with unique spider-like abilities, ultimately transforming into Spider-Woman. Players can unlock this new champion starting April 17th.

Before Spider-Woman joins the roster, fans will encounter Lumatrix on April 9th. Designed by the Founders as one of their deadliest assassins, Lumatrix wields dazzling light-based powers, making him a formidable opponent capable of stealthy infiltration and elimination.

April brings significant narrative developments in the game. Act 9 Chapter 2, titled "Inquisition," introduces a storyline where Carina suffers injuries while confronting Ouroborus forces. Meanwhile, Doctor Doom collaborates with the Fantastic Four to combat the spreading corruption of Chronoserpents. A new villain, Lotan, also enters the fray.

The "Spy Games" Event Quest commences on April 9th and runs until May 7th. Black Widow enlists Spider-Woman's help to uncover mysteries surrounding the enigmatic Eidols. Additionally, the Side Quest featuring Dark Phoenix returns with "Dark Bounties," where players must hunt down targeted champions to claim rewards.
