Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo

New Kameo Fighter

Mortal Kombat 1 has just released the official trailer for the newest Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, the owner of Fengjian Teahouse. She'll join the game on March 18th, 2025, alongside the villainous T-1000 from Terminator 2, as part of Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.

Before becoming a Kameo fighter, Madam Bo appeared in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode, where she was defeated by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke for failing to pay protection money. This was a clever ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her age, Madam Bo is a formidable force, having ties with the Lin Kuei and being a skilled martial artist who trained Raiden and Kung Lao.

In the gameplay footage, Madam Bo assists her pupils with powerful strikes and a unique finishing move. She smashes glass bottles and executes a fatality that decapitates her opponent, catching the head on a tea tray.

T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut

On the same day, March 18th, the shapeshifting T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day will make its debut in the Mortal Kombat franchise. This liquid metal assassin will use its abilities to morph into various forms, wielding a sharp sword or a machine gun to take down opponents.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion

Both Madam Bo and T-1000 are part of the Mortal Kombat 1 expansion, Khaos Reigns. This expansion extends Liu Kang’s New Era story with a new campaign and cinematic experience, where players will see him gather his champions to combat the ruthless Titan Havik, who threatens the world and the New Era.

Kombat Pack 2, included in the expansion, introduces several new and returning characters. The rollout began with Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax in September 2024, followed by Ghostface from Scream in November, and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and T-1000 will join the roster later this month, adding more variety and excitement to the game.
