The Final Curtain Call: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Stars Say Goodbye
A chapter in the history of Kingdom Come: Deliverance has closed. After years of lending their voices and souls to the beloved RPG, Tom McKay and Luke Dale have bid farewell to Warhorse Studios. Their departure was a poignant moment—a blend of gratitude, nostalgia, and a sense of finality.
However, even as they recorded their final lines, the studio was already auditioning new actors to take over the roles of Henry and Hans. The irony wasn't lost on anyone—a farewell for one generation marked the beginning of another.
McKay, the voice of Henry, reflected on the unique bond forged during the project:
“In the creative world, ‘family’ is often used loosely, but here it was truly felt. The connections I made during this journey are some of the deepest and longest-lasting of my career.”
This sense of family resonated both personally and thematically. Henry's tragic loss mirrored McKay's own experience with his father, imbuing certain scenes with profound emotional weight. For McKay, Kingdom Come: Deliverance transcended a mere project; it became a deeply personal experience.
