Folio Society Unveils Luxurious Hardcover of China Miéville's Perdido Street Station

China Miéville’s Perdido Street Station stands as one of the most celebrated fantasy novels of the last few decades and a defining work in the "weird fiction" genre. Its richly layered narrative and imaginative world-building make it a perfect addition to The Folio Society’s prestigious collection of lavishly produced hardcover editions.

To mark the novel’s 25th anniversary, The Folio Society is releasing a deluxe 707-page hardcover edition of Perdido Street Station. This special release features a new afterword by Miéville himself and an original suite of illustrations by artist Doug Bell. Bell’s contribution includes 8 black-and-white chapter opener artworks, 12 full-color plates, and a meticulously crafted map of the sprawling, industrial metropolis of New Crobuzon.
