Fortnite Reintroduces Reload Mode with Classic Guns and Iconic Maps

Fortnite has just introduced a thrilling new mode called Reload, blending classic vibes with a modern twist. In this mode, 40 players are packed into a smaller map that's rich with nostalgia, featuring iconic locations from past seasons. Get ready to experience the thrill of the game in a whole new way.

What’s In Store In The Reload Mode Of Fortnite?

Curious about what the Reload mode brings to the table? It's a game-changer where your squad can stage a comeback as long as one member is still in the fight. However, a full squad wipe means it's game over with no second chances. Whether you prefer Battle Royale or Zero Build, the goal remains the same: be the last squad standing.

The action unfolds on a compact island featuring beloved spots like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. While vehicles are off the table, the mode compensates with a rich array of unvaulted loot. You’ll have the chance to wield nostalgic weapons like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Victory Crowns are still up for grabs, and if you’re rebooted, you’ll return to the fray with a common Assault Rifle and some wood in Build mode. The excitement escalates with the Reboot Timer, which starts at 30 seconds and increases to 40 as the match progresses. You and your teammates can reduce this time by taking down opponents, and if you're eliminated, you can choose to start your reboot right away.

When You Get Eliminated

Elimination in Reload mode adds a strategic layer to the game. Upon being eliminated, you'll drop Small Shield Potions, various ammo types, and 50 units of each building material in Build mode, keeping the battle intense and resource-rich.

To sweeten the deal, the Fortnite Reload mode offers introductory quests with substantial XP rewards. Complete three quests to earn the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six for the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine to secure the NaNa Bath Back Bling. Achieve a Victory Royale, and you'll unlock The Rezzbrella Glider.
